Staircase and platform built in "Powers of 10" (all dimensions are divisible by the number 10). The staircase itself aligns on the cardinal points of north, south, east, and west; in effect acting as a compass. There is also a mirror attached to the underside of the center platform that allows guests to witness themselves from a rather obscure vantage point. When exhibited at a venue that allows access to climb on top of the platform, a very disorienting feeling occurs since there is very little room at all to stand on the narrow platform.
