In addition to being an artists, Hughes has also curated over a dozen exhibitions and co-founded two artists' run live/work/exhibition spaces in downtown Baltimore and was Exhibitions Coordinator for School 33 Art Center, a non-profit arts organization with rotating exhibitions, an artists-in-residence program, and youth and adult art education.
